Our Story
Takoda Dogs was founded by Nevin Neagu and his late mother, Jeanette Neagu, whose passion for raising exceptional dogs lives on through the family tradition Nevin proudly continues today.

For nearly four decades, Jeanette, Nevin, and their family have been dedicated to breeding beautiful, healthy champion and companion dogs. Now located in Chesterton, Indiana, Takoda Dogs specializes in outstanding English Cream Golden Retriever puppies.

We believe the best family dogs are raised within a family. Every dog in our program lives as a beloved household companion—free to play, explore, sleep by our side, and enjoy the warm, nurturing home environment we want for all of their puppies. Our English Cream Golden Retrievers are raised with the same high standards of care, socialization, and love that have defined our kennel for generations.
